New Fixtures RWP-018SS and RWP-019SS

Today we are offering two new stainless steel fixtures to add even more flexibility to the Raptor family of workholding products.  First up is the RWP-018SS.  This 5-axis fixture is our first to feature a 0.5" dovetail width.  This allows you to use workpieces up to 12 pounds while utilizing an even narrower dovetail to give you increased access to all sides.

Next is the RWP-019SS (clever naming system, huh?).  This fixture utilizes a narrower base footprint to allow you to pack them tighter on a pallet.  The durable stainless steel construction allows it to hold workpieces up to two pounds on a narrow 0.375" dovetail.  Take a look and let us know what you think.

Micro Raptor 5-Axis Fixtures Now Available

For years we've sold Raptor 5-axis fixtures for medium size parts.  We've also expanded our products to include Raptor Rails capable of supporting workpieces of up to 150 pounds.  Now we're pleased to announce our Micro Raptors for workpieces weighing up to 0.284 pounds and 1.25 cubic inches.

These small workholding fixures offer the same ease-of-use, strength and convenience as our larger dovetail fixtures allowing you to quickly machine smaller size parts without taking your primary fixtures off the machine.  The fixtures provide rigid clamping while exposing five faces of the workpiece.  Most features can be completed in a single operation and our unique Raptor dovetail spring-loaded clamps require only 0.0469" of material to hold the workpiece.

Micro Raptors come in three different formats for three different mounting options.  All of them are manufactured from 17-4 Heat-Treated Stainless Steel with a 0281" wide dovetail holder.
